Where Blount County meets Sand Mountain

Susan Moore is a Blount County town in the Sand Mountain region, with 787 residents in the 2020 census.  State Highway 75 passes through the center of town, and the Locust Fork of the Black Warrior River runs through the northwest corner.[1]

The town was first known as Clarence.  It took the name Susan Moore in 1923, when her grandsons donated land for a school, and it incorporated in 1982.[1]

Digital X-Rays Digital X-ray on site: chest, abdominal, skull, thoracic spine and bone studies. EKG In-office electrocardiograms to check your heart rhythm and electrical activity. COVID-19 Information Awareness and guidance if you have had contact with someone with COVID-19, and testing information.
