Testing and results
What to expect with test results
We know that lab tests can be expensive and time consuming, so we try to make sure any test we order is necessary and appropriate for your individual situation. We always explain the purpose of the test and the results you can expect, and we discuss any risks or side effects.
You can expect your test results within 5 to 10 days after testing is complete. If we need to talk with you sooner, we will call you. If you have not received your results in 5 to 10 days, please call us.
To make sure we can reach you, please keep your phone number, address and insurance information up to date at our front desk.
Medication refills
Getting the medications you need
We want you to have the medications you need when you need them. It can be hard to remember to bring every bottle to every visit, so we suggest keeping all your medications in one place, such as a pill box or bag, and bringing it with you.
To get regular refills, call your pharmacy with the request, and they will contact us. Please allow at least 24 hours for our office to approve a refill.
We understand that waiting for a refill can be inconvenient, and we apologize for any trouble it causes. We work to make sure all medications are prescribed and refilled safely and responsibly.
Billing information
Payment and insurance
For your convenience we accept cash, checks and most major credit cards. We also accept CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that can help you pay for treatments and procedures your insurance does not cover. We are happy to submit your insurance forms if you have given us accurate and current information. Co-payments are due at the time of your office visit.
It is important to check with your insurance provider to understand which services are covered. See the insurance we accept. If you have a special financial circumstance, please do not hesitate to talk with our billing office at 256-459-7771.
