A Sand Mountain community that rebuilt

Shiloh is a DeKalb County town on Sand Mountain at about 1,204 feet, between Rainsville to the northeast and Fyffe to the southwest.  It incorporated in 1962.[1]

An EF5 tornado struck the community during the April 27, 2011 Super Outbreak.  The 2020 census counted 321 residents, up 17.2 percent from 2010.[1]
