Priceville is a growing town in the north of Morgan County, with 3,512 residents in 2020 compared with 2,658 in 2010.  Wheeler Lake on the Tennessee River is just north, and Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge lies between the town and Decatur.[1]

People settled here in the 1820s.  Interstate 65 was built around the 1950s, and rapid economic growth followed.[1]
