Overlooking Guntersville Lake

Pisgah stands on Sand Mountain at 1,375 feet, with the Tennessee River's Guntersville Lake in view below.  It is just off State Route 71, northeast of Section and northwest of Henagar.[1]

Settlers began arriving in the late 1830s, the post office opened in 1878 and the town incorporated in 1947.  An EF4 tornado on April 27, 2011 passed north of town.[1]

We are open Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 12 PM and 1 to 5 PM, and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM.  The office is closed Saturday and Sunday.  Call 256-459-7771 with any questions.
