A Jackson County town older than its California namesake

This Jackson County town began as Samples in 1883, was renamed Hollywood in 1887 and incorporated in 1897.  That predates Hollywood, California by six years, and when California tried to trademark the name in 1994, Hollywood, Alabama and ten other towns successfully pushed back.[1]

The 2020 census counted 914 residents in a town of about 9 square miles at 627 feet.[1]

Lab Testing In-office lab tests including blood sugar, A1C, PT/INR, pregnancy, COVID and strep tests, urinalysis and drug screening. Digital X-Rays Digital X-ray on site: chest, abdominal, skull, thoracic spine and bone studies. EKG In-office electrocardiograms to check your heart rhythm and electrical activity. COVID-19 Information Awareness and guidance if you have had contact with someone with COVID-19, and testing information.
