The Tennessee half of a border town

Ardmore, Tennessee, is mostly in Giles County, with its eastern parts in Lincoln County, and the 2020 census counted 1,217 residents.  Its sister city is Ardmore, Alabama, right next door.[1]

A railroad stop called Austin began there in 1911, and it became Ardmore when the L&N opened a depot in 1914.  The city incorporated in 1949.[1]

What are the hours before I make the drive?

The office is open Monday to Thursday from 8 AM to 12 PM and 1 to 5 PM, and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM.  It is closed Saturday and Sunday, so call 256-459-7771 before you head out.
